Hot on the heels of last year's successful run of DEATH OF A SALESMAN, the Irish Classical Theatre Company joins in the Centennial Celebration of the birth of Arthur Miller with its 25th Anniversary production of his American masterpiece, ALL MY SONS, which will be on stage at the Andrews Theatre, home of the Irish Classical Theatre Company, January 15 to February 7, 2016.
ALL MY SONS is a powerful and gripping study of honesty and guilt and the corrupting power of greed. Set in post World War II America, it is the story of Joe Keller, a successful businessman and a loving husband and father, struggling with the knowledge that, during the war, he allowed his factory to ship faulty airplane cylinders to the U.S. Armed Forces, resulting in the death of 21 American pilots. This is a tragedy of the common man told with electrifying intensity.
ALL MY SONS is directed by ICTC Associate Director Greg Natale who also directed last Season's critically acclaimed production of Death of a Salesman.
The cast includes Peter Palmisano as Joe Keller; Josie DiVincenzo as Kate Keller; Anthony Alcocer as Chris Keller; Candice Kogut as Ann Deever; Chris Kelly as George Deever; John Profeta as Dr. Jim Bayliss; Lisa Vitrano as Sue Bayliss; Rich Kraemer as Frank Lubey; Kristen Bentley as Lydia Lubey; and young Ayden Herreid in his ICTC debut.
"ICTC is proud to join in the Centennial Celebration of the birth of Arthur Miller by presenting ALL MY SONS to Western New York audiences as part of ICTC's 25th Anniversary Season," said ICTC Artistic Director Vincent O'Neill. "With a distinguished career spanning over 50 years, Miller has engaged us with his laser sharp insights into the heart and soul of the 'everyman,' ALL MY SONS delves into the complex issues that define us and the far-reaching effects they have on our community, family, friends and even those we will never meet." he continued. "We present this thought-provoking production in homage to the genius of Arthur Miller," O'Neill concluded.
