IlluminAqua's 7th season begins this week, a unique blend of music, fire, and fountains set on the waters of the Old Welland Canal. Live performances by award-winning artists take place on a floating stage surrounded by floating fire pods. Concert-goers gather round a waterside stone-stepped amphitheatre to take in the sights and sounds of Fire - Music - Water.

IlluminAqua is part of the "Waterways Arts and Culture Series" held at the Welland Amphitheatre in Merritt Park, 115 King St., Welland, ON, and the schedule is as follows: May 17 - Matt Andersen, Steve Strongman, Harrison Kennedy May 18 - Downchild Blues Band June 14 - Matt Dusk July 15 - Emilie-Claire Barlow July 5 - Current Swell July 6 - Sarah Harmer Aug 2 - Delta Rae Aug 3 - Skydiggers Aug 30 - Bowfire Aug 31 - David Myles

Tickets are still available and Friday evening admission is set at $34 while Saturday evening has been set at $32. Children under six are admitted free. Season passes are available for $199 and tickets can be purchased at the Seaway Mall customer service desk, at the will-call tent prior to the performances or online at www.illuminaqua.com.
