Guest Post by Beth Poad
Looking for family entertainment over the holiday season? Well, look no more! Rehearsals have begun for this year's holiday pantomime, and as in the past 2 years, it promises to be fun! Yes it is Snow White, but with a twist!
This year's show, again written by Chantal and Tim promises to be even better and will consist of 4 matinees and 3 evening performances throughout the holiday season.
This version of the story has all the treasured elements audiences know and love, and combines them in a pantomime with interactive fun, some new zany characters, and a festive spirit that's sure to please audiences young and old.
With a cast of 20 actors of all ages and a full ensemble of 15, the directors have put together an excellent team. There will be lots of singing , dancing and laughter. There are also door prices, lobby games and post-show autographs as well as photo opportunities with the stars of the show.
Come and cheer on beautiful Snow White and her seven, silly friends as they escape every evil plan set in motion by her very wicked and mysteriously hairy stepmother. Joined by a fabulous mirror, a handsome prince and some favourite fictional friends, this year's holiday pantomime is sure to be a hit for the whole family!
Musical numbers: We Wrote This Panto, My Beautiful Girl, Cut Loose, I'll Reign Again, Friends We'll Be, If You Wanna, Fight, I'm Good, Journey to the Past, Business, The Kiss,

Back in 2013, Burl-Oak Theatre Group enlisted the services of a creative team consisting of Tim Cadeny and Chantal Forde . Their mission was to create family entertainment at a reasonable cost in south-western Ontario. Tired of driving into Toronto and fighting traffic and parking battles, families west of the city were ready for family fun closer to home. The first production, Cinderella - A Holiday Pantomime, was highly successful, followed by Peter Pan - A Holiday Pantomime which sold out quickly even in a theatre built for 500 and with 6 performances.
