Hay Fever

Hay Fever - david and josephine with flower

The Irish Classical Theatre Company presents Hay Fever as its sixth and final production of the season Friday, June 2 through Sunday, June 25, 2017 at ICTC's Andrews Theatre, 625 Main Street, Buffalo, New York.

Noel Coward's Hay Fever tells the story of the eccentric Bliss family: Judith, recently retired from the theatre; David, a self-absorbed novelist; and their two rather peculiar grown children, Sorel and Simon. Unbeknownst to one another, they have each invited a guest for a weekend holiday at their posh country estate. Drama ensues, resulting in pure pandemonium for the unsuspecting guests. The young Coward, inspired by the antics of his friends during their weekends in the country, wrote the play in just three days.

Hay Fever is directed by ICTC Guest Director Gordon McCall who previously directed Shining City and A Couple of Blaguards for ICTC. It stars ICTC Artist in Residence Josephine Hogan as Judith Bliss; David Oliver as David Bliss; Marisa Caruso as Sorel Bliss; Jordan Levin as Simon Bliss, Hilary Walker as Myra Arundel; David Lundy as Richard Greatham; Melissa Levin as Jackie Coryton; Jacob Albarella as Sandy Tyrell and Andrea Gollhardt as Clara.

Information and tickets are available by phone at 853-ICTC (4282) or online at www.irishclassicaltheatre.com
