Twenty Valley Winter WineFest Expands with Friday Night Concert
The sixth annual Twenty Valley Winter WineFest invites visitors to sip, savour and celebrate world class Twenty Valley Icewines as well as red, white and sparkling selections January 9, 10 & 11, 2015 on Main St. in Jordan Village, ON, during the first weekend of the month-long Niagara Icewine Festival.
"This signature event provides a chance to taste the wide array of wines and styles that truly showcase the extreme talent, strength and variety in Twenty Valley wines," says Twenty Valley Tourism President and Sue-Ann Staff Estate Winery proprietor, Sue-Ann Staff, of the festival.
Visitors to the Twenty Valley Winter WineFest are invited to enjoy cozy open fires, live music, stylish fashion shows as well as winemakers' challenges. Indulge in the best of local food with delicious offerings from renowned local restaurateurs and Ontario food trucks.
Chef Michael Smith, of Chef Michaels Kitchen, Chef Abroad and Chef at Home, will be hosting the Chef Michael Smith "Sweet. Sparkling. Sensational!" dinner on Saturday night in the panoramic Windows Room at On the Twenty from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Seating is limited and tickets start at $99 +HST for this three-course, wine paired meal until December 25 and then they will be $109 +HST.
New to this year's program, a Friday night kick-off concert will feature Kira Isabella - one of Canada's brightest young country music stars who has a decade of experience performing her brand of up-tempo country music across Canada - an impressive feat since at just 20 years old.

Opening Night Concert - January 9, 2014, 5:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
Wine, Beer, Spirits, Food Trucks & Live Canadian Country music help to kick off the weekend festivities on the Main Stage in Jordan Village. Featuring Canadian CMA -Female Artist of the Year Kira Isabella with Leah Daniels, Dylan Menzie & Jeff Brown. Tickets are $15 advance, $20 at the door.
Chef Michael Smith Sweet Sparkling Sensational Dinner - January 10, 2015, 6:00 p.m.
The dinner includes a three-course meal featuring an Icewine infused menu created by the chef, Michael Smith. This event will take place in the gorgeous 'Windows Room' of On the Twenty Restaurant, which features spectacular views of the Jordan Valley. Only 136 tickets are available ($99 pp +HST until December 25 after $109 +HST).

Winemaker's Barrel Challenge - Cheer on our TVTA Winemakers and see if Malivoire's Dan Stouck can defend his title as they compete for the Golden Blunnies. Saturday & Sunday at 2pm
Saturday Night Concert - Brought to you be HTZ-FM and featuring their 2103 Rocksearch winner "The Glorious Sons". They are the next generation great Canadian rock to emerge from Kingston. Opening will be the Mohrs & Yukon Blonde.
Cave Spring Cellars After Party - Saturday January 10, 2015. Doors open at 10p.m.
The After Party is held in the barrel cellar of historic Cave Spring Cellars and features beer, Dillon's Small Batch Distillers cocktails and Cave Spring Wines. Live music will spice up the night. Tickets are $25.00 in advance or $30.00 plus tax at the door.

Sunday's Entertainment - one of the fastest rising young stars on the Canadian music scene, Irene Torres and the Sugar Devils perform in the afternoon. They have been nominated as best new artist or Group of the Year in the Toronto Blues Society eighteenth annual Maple Blues Awards. Also performing will be Peter Boyd and the Swayin' Sommeliers.
